April 3, 2017 meeting success

Thank you to everyone who came out, and especially to our members who nominated charities – we had 9 in all. Thanks to Janessa McCormack for her pitch for Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Jean Stinson for sharing her passion for the Central Alberta Brain Injury Society (CABIS), and to Leslee Burton for representing the Barrier Free, Access for All Playscape. Once again, it was a tough choice!

In the end the most votes were cast in favour of Central Alberta Brain Injury Society. Congratulations to Jean and her fellow volunteers; they have been consistent in submitting a nomination at every meeting. We look forward to hearing your report back to the group in September.
